Default ? about PA flintlock deer season

In the manual it said you can use a flintlock or crossbow with muzzle loader stamp how about a compound bow? It also stated you can take a buck or doe if you didn't get any with a normal buck tag, is this true I don't bother anymore with doe tags.

A compound bow would require an archery stamp instead though the seasons are the same.

It is true that an antlered tag can be used on an antlerless deer during the late flintlock season. Any unfilled anterless tag would be good for an additional antlerless deer in the WMU it is issued for.

I don't see where this applies to late archery though, only flintlock or crossbows.

The late season archery requires an archery stamp. Your buck tag is only good for a buck with a bow. Any unused anterless tags are valid.

Flintlock or crossbow require a muzzloader stamp. Your buck tag is good for either sex. Any unused anterless tags are valid.

I think it's bs that a crossbow hunter can take either sex.

Too early in the pregnancy. You won't find anything.

    SLight hijack

I've seen the barrel kits for a mossberg 500 to make it a ML. Can I use this during ML season in PA?

I know nothing about ML, I don't do archery right now, I'd like more than two weeks of deer season.

It would be legal during the "early ML antlerless" season. As it would be considered an "inline" ML. You would need doe tag also for that season.

Flinlock ignition only during the regular (late) ML season.
