    Default Glock recoil spring

On the front barrel lockup point where the spring sits, there are 2 notches. the front one is right up against the barrel and rounded to match the guide rod.
My question is this.....everytime I put my gun together I put the spring on the rounded one....every time I take it apart it has slipped up one notch....is this normal? Does it happen when I pull down the takedown buttons? Could the guide rod be moving while Im shooting?

    Normal.

When you reassemble, the recoil spring assembly comes off that rounded ledge of the front of the barrel's unlocking lug and rests inside the dust cover area, in front of/against the locking block. That semi-circle is just a reference point for correct alignment during reassembly.
