UTAH CFP CLASS - (CARRY in 33 states with RESIDENT PA LTCF also . . . UTAH CFP only 29 states including PA legally!!!)

A live fire option will be offered on site for an additional fee of 40.00 to meet other states CCW (Arizona, Florida) requirements. Includes additional fingerprints and photos

What is included: Utah CFP class, fingerprints, (6) passport size photos,
your state issued Drivers License or State ID photocopied for
packet, and a preaddressed envelope to the UTAH BCI to facilitate
return of your completed package. You will leave the class with the
packet COMPLETE. We will be doing the fingerprints, copying of
Drivers License/State ID, and passport size photos on site.

ONE STOP SHOPPING!

No need to get fingerprints, passport photos, photo copying, etc. done elsewhere. Completion of Utah CFP class also meets requirements for an Arizona and/or Florida Concealed Weapons Permit if you complete an optional live fire exercise at conclusion of classroom portion. A notarized affidavit attesting to completion of course and live fire for use in obtaining an Arizona and/or Florida Non Resident permit and additional fingerprints will be provided if requested. This way you can get a Utah and a Arizona and/or Florida Permit if you would like. Light snacks and beverages will also be provided at no additional charge.

NOTE: You may download the application from the UTAH BCI site ahead of time if you desire. Application is double sided.

A few questions, it that is ok.

First I see on your site it states this class might be rescheduled if there is not enough registrant, is this likely to be the case or do you have enough, and is there still room?

Second you mention the optional live fire additional training to also qualify for AZ and FL, however I was just looking at the AZ DPS site and it states that all training must take place within the borders of the state so how would your additional training qualify? That was changed in July of 2010 when AZ passed constitutional carry. Now they accept a lot of different things. AZ is aware that the site is wrong...

Thank you for your inquiry. If you have additional questions please feel free to email us or call our office as it is tough to mannage all forum inquiries. that being said the Sharon Hill class is filling up and I anticipate no issues hosting it. Any time we have canceled a class due to lack of enrollement we allways refund any registrants money or apply it to another upcoming class they would like to attend. We allways mention that classes are subject to cancelation due to lack of enrollment because it is not fiscally solvent to host a class where the turnout does not cover costs.

If your read the actual AZ statute you will note that they now accept a meriot of different types of training in liue of taking a class within AZ. After completing the optional live fire you will receive documentation that is satisfactory to apply for an AZ permit. To date no student has had any issues to my knowlege and AZ is turning around permits in about 1 - 2 weeks. Pretty fast I think.

Some individuals have inquired about completing the live fire portion only for AZ and/or FL permit. If you have previiously attended any Utah CFP course hosted by Team Life Inc. then you are elligable to participate in the live fire portion to qualify for an AZ and/or FL permit.

Once again we had a great turnout. It was great to see many women also attending the class to include two police officers wives.

Both police officers accompanied their spouses and audited the class. Both officers indicated having to tried to teach their wives about shooting and right to carry but ascerted their wives would not listen to them; but would gladly listen to an instructor!

I also found it interesting that both officers indicated that they receive no training as to what out of state permits are valid in PA and the norm is to honor any permit presented provided the individual is not engaged in any criminal activity while carrying and relying on the out of state permit.

Both officers also had a PA LTCF.

Additionally both officers indicated knowing no way of verifying an LTCF during non business hours of the Delaware County Sheriff or any other Seriff/Chief of Police. It is my udnderstanding that part of the reciprocity provision for PA is that we have the ability to verify an LTCF 24/7.

I would like to thank the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center for allowing use of their facility. Being able to complete the live fire right on site was beneficial and the facilities were top notch.

We intend to be hosting more Utah CFP courses with optional live fire for AZ and/or FL permit in the future.
