    Default Positive OC Encounter

...and therefore, it wasn't with the police!

I jest. However, while the weather was nice, I went down and got my haircut today. The place was dead so she took me right away. The hairdresser didn't say a word about my gun, and I know she saw it. That was pretty awesome in and of itself.

Anyway, as she was ringing me up, another customer came in. While my receipt was being printed, he asks,

    "Hey, is that a Glock?"
    "Yessir!"
    "How do you like it?"
"I love it to bits - it's my favorite carry gun. Well balanced, fits my hand perfectly, and I don't have to worry about a safety."
"I carried a Glock for a while. My hands are too small, though. I had a lot of trouble with the Berretta M9 and the Taurus I had."
"Yeah, I have a Ruger at home that's a good carry gun but it's bigger than I like."
    "Is that a 9mm or a .40?"
"This one is a .40, but the Ruger is a 9mm."
"How is the kick on the Glock? Is it that much worse than a 9mm?"
"It's all about how you hold it and your stance. If you get good at absorbing the recoil, the difference really isn't noticeable."
    "Alright, awesome."

We shook hands and I left. As I walked away, the customer commented to the hairdresser - "Sorry about that - it's a man thing." I almost fell over in laughter.

I was very impressed at this place, actually. I know she saw it, but it didn't appear to bother her one tiny bit.

PS: You have Deuce spelled wrong, unless it's a nod to a dead Pope.
