Talking Welcoming the Glock 23 to my family

I have been considering a Glock for some time so today I purchased the G23. Haven't had the chance to get to the range, but hoping to go up early tomorrow and spend some quality time with it.

Very nice!! Great gun. Good purchase.

I have one for sale if anyone is interested.

Check classifieds.. - 40 was not for me.. I tried the G26 and liked it better so I am selling my g23 to make another purchase - my new hunting rifle..

    willing to work.

Hey OP get the night sights and the 15 round mags... they work great.

Also the cross breed holster fits great.

Nice pencil. I carry the same ones. Use the heavy leads or they break like crazy. 0.7 mm minimum, or cut the tip off the bore and use 0.9 mm. And throw out the short leads, they push back into the pencil when it runs low. High cap leads only.

Congratulations - wait til you shoot it, very accurate and easy to handle. I Picked up a 23c recently and love it. Enjoy!

LOL...sometimes I forget about the peanut gallery around here.

But I agree, anything smaller than 0.7mm and I get a lot of FTW (failure to write).

I knew it was going to be humorous, but it was 100% sincere. I've met dozens of people on this forum, some I meet on a regular basis, and none have ever once seen me without that pencil. It's EDC.

Well done. I love the feel and frame of the G23. It just fits your hand like a glove. It also carries/conceals like a champ.

You may want to consider some pearce or Scherer lips for the bottom of the mag though- but that is a personal preference.

Let us know how she shoots.
