is it safe to keep feeding my RIA 1911 +p ammo?
I had a gent recommended i do not use it ne more in my rock island arms 1911....kinda curious to me because Ive been doing it all along...anyone add some advice?

Simple answer. No. Unless you want a very shor pistol life. It says right in the manual and on their site that their 1911's are not designed to be subjected to prolonged +P ammo usage.
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

Were you intentionally shooting +P or you didn't know it was until after? Generally speaking you should not shoot +P ammo out of a gun unless it is specifically marked for +P ammo.
