Default Anyone know of a good game harvest database for PA?

Ideally I'd like to find something listing harvest numbers for buck, doe, bear, and maybe turkey by WMU per year. I'm going through the PGC site and not finding quite what I'm looking for. I know the info is out there, all those animals require report cards to be sent in for kills. And there are numbers published each year in magazines.

I need it for a project I'm putting together for a class. I might give the PGC a call tomorrow and see if they can help me out.

ETA: I've got 2009 through 2003. The numbers prior to that I'm only finding total statewide numbers, but I need them by WMU. I'd also like to know numbers by hunting type (rifle, muzzleloader, archery). I've never hunted muzzleloader or archery, and I can't remember what all a report card lists now, but I assume that is specified somewhere right?

At one time, harvests were reported by county. I'm not sure what year they changed from county to WMU, but it was probably somewhere around '03. That may explain why you can't find WMU data prior to that year.

Ah. Well that's good info to know, though it may throw a wrench into my plan. I could possibly still make it work if I could find county numbers from prior to 2003. But I may have to take a look at other states to base this on.

    Thanks!

No problem. A WCO is on the forum here fairly regularly. He may be able to help you out a little more.

    Good luck with your project.
