I always worry that the message received would be:

"I've got guns to steal! Wait until I leave!"

    This!

I try to stay as nondescript as possible. I don't put bumper stickers on my car either.

I think people that put the alarm system signs in their front yard are silly. Just lets people know that they should be more careful about breaking in. Too many people buy those systems, use them for a few weeks and then forget about them, and never arm them.

Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

I would think walking a big Cane Corso around your yard and a bright "Beware of Dog" sign would work better:

My great Aunt Catherine had a sticker on her door with a picture of a 1911 and this saying. The sticker dated back to the early 70s. Back then we just called them Colt 45s.

This too can work against you ----
The prosecutor might would point out that your dog attacking 'someone on your property to simply ask directions' was a foreseeable endangerment because you posted a sign (Beware of Dog) that admits you knew the dog was dangerous.....

Our legal system has simply gone over the edge quite some time ago.... our basic societal contract of 'innocent until proven guilty' has been turned on it's head...

Be careful what you post on your property or your car.... Remember --- 'Anything you say, can, and will, be used against you!'
