    Default Courthouse in levittown

I had to go to the courthouse in Levittown on New Falls road today and I called to find out who I had to see when I walked in to check my weapon and they said if your not a cop then I can't. I ask her what her name was and why they weren't in compliance with state law and she hung up on me. Who do I have to contact to get this corrected?

this is the sign outside their door

there are no lock boxes inside there. there's a restroom, 2 or 3 small conference rooms, the door to the office personnel area, and the door to the court room itself.

They don't seem to get it do they? We don't want to take our firearm inside the court facility...we just want to check it as required by statute

yep...Judge Wagner. The sign is outside...mounted on the wall left of the door...my pic is just the bottom portion of a larger Bucks County Magistrate sign that they all have.

I'd say the sheriff, since he is responsible for courthouse security.

I am not sure if you are serious.

If you are: the courthouse you are referring to local magistrate's office. Yes it has a courtroom, but it is more like a small office for local government clerks. There is no fulltime security. Who is going to man a proposed gun locker ? Do you expect the women working as clerks there to get firearm training so they can safely clear and handle a weapon ?

I am all for CC, but the local magistrate is a low budget government office. The expense to put a gun locker at every single local magistrate and then pay an officer to man said locker would be astronomical. In this instance I would be OK with just leaving my gun in my car.

It is the law.The Gov. doesn't give a rats ass how much it costs my company to be in compliance with laws and regulations.
