Actually, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

I bought it new in 1996 and took good care of it in terms of FMJ only and field stripping and cleaning after every range visit.

But, it has never been completely disassembled and inspected. I'm mechanically competent and could probably completely strip the weapon (I have an armorers manual), but I'm not sure what kind of wear I'm looking for - in terms of whats normal wear and what indicates a problem or a need to replace a component.

It's probably had <8000 rounds through it, but still functions like new and is absolutely reliable. I just want to see if there is any PM needed :-).

Truthfully, it's a safe queen now, as I carry an XD or 442 daily, but I still want it to be 100%.

I'm certified through Glock and can do a complete disassemble and check, but you are a bit away from me. Any trips planned to the Northumberland County area?

I have my rifle. Do you?

Roger Burris of King Shooters Supply is certified by Glock (took the armorers course, etc.)

He is in King of Prussia.
