Who does bead blasting in PGH area?
Just bought a Smith & Wesson 5906. It was a cop gun and while the internals are in good shape the outside is rough from riding a holster for what looks like an eternity.
Since it is all stainless I would like to get it bead blasted to a matte finish to clean up its appearance.
Anyone know of a shop in the Pittsburgh area or western PA that does it?

Re: Who does bead blasting in PGH area?
I can't name a specific place in Pittsburgh, but just check your Yellow Pages.
Look under "sandblasting". Then read thru the ads until you find one that lists blasting processes like ' crushed glass', 'baking soda', 'crushed walnuts', 'plastic bead', etc.
You should be able to find some fairly easy. I know people who have had auto parts media blasted by some companies that specialize in cemetery markers. Let your fingers do the walking, and call around.LUKE 11:21 == Proverbs 29:2 = Proverbs 25:28
