Wait time for LTCF in Phila Question

Has anyone from Philly ever recieved a response in less then the 45 day period?

My last renewal in 2008, it took about 3 weeks. In 2003, it took about 2.5 weeks. My buddy applied for his the same day I did in '03 and got it in 11 days. Lately, from what I hear, they are all over the place.

IMHO, Renewals should be processed immediately. Run a check, issue card. Not that hard of a concept. Unfortunately this is a new application.

Unfortunately, the law says renewals are to be treated just like new applications.

There are counties that issue NEW ones immediately...run check, issue card. In this day of technology, There is no reason why they can't all do it....

Just took my application to the Permit Unit last Friday. They told me 8-10 weeks till I would receive the letter in the mail.

I took mine in on Feb. 11th. They told me 45 days. Good luck!
