Recommendation REM SPS 700 Scope
I would like to hear opinions on scopes for a Remington SPS 700 .308 under $400.00. I know all about Leupold 3x9 0r 4x12 but that is just a tad more than I am willing to spend at this point.
Thoughts...

Bushnell Elite 4200s are being discounted because they are being replaced. These are excellent for the $.

SWFA Super Sniper scope. For $300.00 you can't beat it.

Re: Recommendation REM SPS 700 Scope
They might be a little over 400 now but check out Falcon Menace scopes. I have the one in this link. http://www.snipercentral.com/menace4.htm I am very happy with it so far.

Re: Recommendation REM SPS 700 Scope
I got the Bushnell 4200 Elite 6-24 50mm when they went on clearance for around $490 @ Midway. I believe they are sold out at this point. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to mount it yet because my shop hasn't gotten the SPS AAC in stock yet. From playing with it it is very solid & bright for less than $500.

How do you like the AAC? What magazine system are you running?

Re: Recommendation REM SPS 700 Scope
LOv e the rifle shoots way better that I can shoot. Shot it the other day with just the bipod and was getting about 2moa with the occasional flyer then put a sandbag under the the stock and was shooting under 1moa. The mag is a mag extender. Got it at midway.
