I see where you're going here, but (God forbid) it might turn out to be irrelevant.

We all know what happened due to that recording, and of course the PPD officers don't have any recordings of their own to corroborate their story. However, whether or not Viper's recording it's admissible in court is a whole other thing. I'd wager a bet the PPD's lawyers first course of action will be to attempt to render inadmissible the recording he made.
