Yeah, but using the superior acceleration of a motorcycle to crush that motherfocker back into his car, possibly breaking a few vertebrates or other bones in the process, would have been an option. After all, before he said anything about being a thug with a badge, that just looks like road rage.

My only question there is why the guy pulled over in the first place. Didn't look like it was a traffic jam; there was open road in front of him. The fact that he pulled over to me indicates that he either knew or suspected the guy was a cop. If I'm driving down 95 and an unmarked civie car gets behind me and the driver starts waving me down or tries to force me off the road, I'll happily call 911 and explain myself ("There's some nutcase behind me making threatening gestures at me and I'm afraid of what will happen when he catches up to me!") while I speed down the shoulder at 100mph if it means I'll pass a real, marked PSP car that can sort everything out. I'll even pay the ticket if it means I avoided potential road rage.

IIRC, he either passed the cop (who was off duty on his way home) at a very high rate of speed or did a wheelie past him. Can't recall exactly but the guy was being pretty reckless. The cop chased him down and cut him off. There was a marked car right behind him.

That's more difficult on a motorcycle than you might think.

There is no way in hell your completing a legible cell phone call on a motorcycle at anything above 25 mph or so, the wind noise will drown out both ends of the conversation. Not to mention the fact you would need to undo and remove your helmet and secure it somehow while at speed just to get the phone to your ear ( not a very wise idea for obvious reasons ) Unless of course you ride around with a bluetooth or something plugged in your ear under the helmet, but you'd still need to " tap it " to connect the call.

When I rode regularly we all had HJC integrated helmet 2 way radios amongst the group, and Im sure they have since added some way of connecting your cell phone to it, but still, placing a cell call, even to 911 while on a bike at highway speed is not going to end well.

Do we know an official time/location?

I may be able to make it.

    Edited for brevity/content.

Search for throat mikes. I use two way radios to talk to the wife on back. Very cheap setup. Throat mikes can be hard to find though. You can even find a push to talk button to attach to the bars but you have to remember to disconnect when you get off the bike! (Or attach it to a finger/glove and press that against the bars)
