While a great idea, it is fucking ridiculous that anyone should even have to think about purchasing body armor to carry in Philthy.

On the other hand, is it fucking ridiculous that anyone should have to carry a gun to walk around? I think it is. It's ridiculous that there are people out there who are so evil that I need to arm myself every time I leave my house (and even inside my house, for that matter). It would be nice to live in a perfect world where no one needs a gun for self defense, but that will never happen. That's just life here on earth.

For anyone with an Android phone or Tablet, there is an app in the Android Market called "Scanner Radio" that some PPD channels, as well as some other departments in the area. Camden is quite entertaining these days.

For the iPhone users, there's also an app called "5-0 Radio" that does the same thing.

You're right, we need kevlar helmets also. While we are at it, we might as well have some armored vehicles in front, behind, and on both sides. Everyone could be in uniform so there is no confusing who is a good guy or bad guy, should a firefight break out. Maybe some of you NFA guys could get a top-mount machine gun on some of the vehicles. Machine guns aren't considered "long guns" per the UFA so they could even be loaded.

Any other ideas?

You know what, It is not so far fetched to think of reasonable protection when doing what is lawful and safe gets a gun drawn on your by a representative of the agency tasked with enforcing the law.
