    Default Shot my SR40 today...

I shot my new Ruger SR40 today for the first time. I love this gun that's about all I can say. I shot about 150 rounds through it and had no problems at all. I've had it for almost a week and this was the first day I could take it to the range. Shot it in for awhile with a few minor adjustments. Then I fired two 15 round clips at a pie plate at about twenty feet away. All 30 rounds in the pie plate in less than a minute. I am by far not a marksman and this is my first semi-auto pistol so I must say I was impressed. I can't wait to get out there again. It is an awesome gun.
I also have to give an excellent review to the Crossbreed Supertuck holster I bought for it. I've been carrying it around this whole week and I barely know it is there. I am also new to CCing and it feels so right having it on my side.
So many years of having my guns locked up in a safe and only visiting them once or twice a year is over. I just wanted to share this with everyone.

Yea I emailed Ruger about the SR40c. They wouldn't acknowledge that it was coming out. I was going to get the full version anyway this time because of the 15 round clips. The SR40c would have less rounds. This being my first semi-auto pistol I wanted the full version. If they come out with the SR40c I may consider buying it as well. It would be a nice smaller version of what I already have.

The Best part of owning the SR40c would be the option of using either
the 10 round compact magazine or the 15 round standard magazine with
adapter sleeve. The compact model would come with both.
    Just like the SR9c.
