Looking for a Shop to buy a SCAR
Hi Guys, I am planning on getting a FN SCAR soon, just wondering if anyone knows any good shop with a fair price in the Allentown area. One store i called and they quoted me SCAR 17 for $2890, that seems little high compare to what I read on line.

Schuylkill Gun Works in Sch. Haven had one, but it's gone now sorry. If you really want one I'd recommend going to your local shop and seeing if they can order one for you. FNH was selling cosmetic blemish SCARs for about 20% less, not sure if they are still doing that, but it's worth a check.

Give Tanners in Jamison a call. They had them listed on gunbroker a little while back for 2700.
CDNN also sells them. No sales tax if you mail order.

Re: Looking for a Shop to buy a SCAR
classic pistol has three SCAR16's, 2 FDE and 1 black one, priced at 2550. A few weeks ago i was at Shakeys Gun Shop in Orwigsburg, PA and they had a SCAR 17 in FDE and a black SCAR 16 but I forget what they were asking.
I was in Tanners yesterday and they didn't have any SCAR's in stock but did have two ACR's if you're interested.

Here is there site for Shakeys. Try checking the gunbroker link they have on there and you can get a good idea what they have in stock. They do have an FN Scar listed but not a 17.
I always have had good luck dealing with them."Remember the first rule of gunfighting ... have a gun." Jeff Cooper

We are about an hour from you and have some pretty smoken prices.
Feel free to give me a call...ask for Chris.
Depending on color...we can get one shipped right in for you.
You can even do a deposit over the phone...to cut your trip down to one.
