arizona is showing the illegals their place and obama is suing them for it and yet some are still suporting the socialist. Arizona is part of the usa. We ( liberals actually) have signs up telling americans not to go to some parts rather than our government protecting our borders they want to protect illegal vermin.

California is probably beyond hope though and they can have it.

    two things;
    1) Obama wants illegals so they can help vote him in (motor voter) for a second term...and as stated earlier, the Dead Elephant Party just cut $650 million from the Border Patrol budget.

    2) if the U.S. ended the stupid drug war (that we have lost) there would be no profit margin on the black market for the cartels to reap such obscene amounts of money. Nor would there be turf wars or shoot outs across the border.

on point 1 you are 100% correct. the thing that sucks is that most are too stupid to know that. Many blacks and groups like the naacp fully support illegal immigrants. Many blacks dont realize that there are more blacks who are hurt by illegal immigration than whites. I try to explain this to every american of color i know.

on two i dont know if i would call it stupid, but i would agree that it has not worked. I dont use drugs and dont think people should, but smoking weed wont kill most people. The violence the prohibition causes though leads to a violent and lucrative black market

Larry Pratt comes out swinging on the Project Gunwalker scandal while the "800 pound gorilla" NRA rests upon its considerable ass.
Eric Holder to Lanny Breuer, pointing at the 800 pound gorilla sitting on its ass: "What about him?" Breuer: "Don't worry, that's the NRA, he's tame."

As previously reported, FOX had two pieces on the Project Gunwalker scandal today. The better of the two was Larry Pratt's commentary on the Traver nomination which of course is intimately intertwined now with the Gunwalker scandal.

Larry came out swinging, and apparently the ATF had declined to provide anyone to defend Traver, for it was Larry vs. Megyn Kelly, who was spinning out the administration meme as best she could.

I want to go on record about one thing. When it came to David's and my attention that the whistleblowers were out there willing to tell their stories, Larry Pratt was one of the first guys we called for advice on how and who to contact to make that happen. GOA worked quietly behind the scenes, helping us get in touch with the right people in Sessions' and Grassley's offices. We also consulted him on how to help move the story along in the media. At every turn, Larry and the GOA were there to help any way they could. It is the height of irony that the FOX build-up to the story on Traver credited NRA with its opposition, whereas it was GOA that was, like the Gunwalker scandal, early in the trenches against Traver while the NRA sat back and calculated the odds, as the Lairds of Fairfax always do.

When the behind-the-scenes story of the opening moves of the Project Gunwalker scandal is finally told, you will be able to find Larry Pratt and Gun Owners of America in the index with multiple citations. The NRA? Once again, missing in action, resting upon its considerable "800 pound gorilla" ass. Of course, they will later claim credit for all of it, as they usually do -- after the fact.

    Hello!

Where is the outrage over this issue?

The ATF, you know, that federal agency that oversees all things related to firearms, like: transactions, importation, manufacture, regulation, etc. is neck deep in a scandal that is nothing short of a job protection racket for thugs in the fedgov. The end result is so far one (known) dead Border Patrol officer and countless dead innocent civilians in Mexico due to the lawlessness of this one agency.

Do gun owners in PA think this does not affect them because it is way out there in Arizona?

Do gun owners in general think the ATf does a great job keeping guns out of the hands of criminals?

Is it no big deal that there is a fucking war going on along our Southern border and it is being exacerbated by wrong-headed and unlawful actions of a federal agency?

    Anybody? I am all ears.

Twoguns, wasn`t agent Zapata killed in mexico by drug gang down there while they we`re on thier way back to the states? I could have sworn that the vest the police had on said POLICIA. They arrested a couple of people for the killing and they had them parade around in thier construction reflective vest so that they would stand out. If I`m wrong, So Sorry as Charlie Chan would say.

Different case entirely. You are correct that Zappata was killed inside Mexico.

The Project Gunwalker case involves a gun traced back to unlawful sales the ATF allowed to go through and one of those rifles was found to be the murder weapon that took the life of Agent Terry in Arizona, in Mid-December of last year.

Gunwalker was a scam that the ATF was running to try and boost the numbers (of guns unlawfully smuggled into Mexico) which in turn was expected to get their agency more funding. It's called BREAKING THE LAW IN THE NAME OF THE LAW and it is malfeasance of the worst order. No oversight. No rule of law. ...and lest we not forget that the carnage brought to bear on innocent Mexican civilians is at play here as well. I don't suppose that American citizens would be too pleased if Mexico were shipping guns into our country with the help of an out of control government agency bent on jacking up numbers for greater resource distribution.

Twoguns, my piont was how will we ever know if the guns that the BATFE introduced didn`t find thier way into Mexico and kill agent Zapata? I`m sure the BATFE did ballistic finger printing but do you really think they will tell anyone where thus weapons were used in a murder, I think not. BATFE have always been THUGS.
