Default Is $410 out the door for a NIB Kahr CW9 a great price?

I've had a hanking for one of these but haven't found one in stock anywhere to handle. But that seems to be a great price. Is that correct? If so, I may just pull the trigger (literally and figuratively) and if me no likey think I can get most of that cost back in trade or sale?

I think thats a good out the door price. I paid $400 for mine + $30 tax and PICS at a gun show.
Buds has them on sale for $369 cash/ shipped.

But till you go through the hassle of buying it online and paying a FFL for the transfer you probably wouldn't really be saving much.

They are great guns, I love mine.

This is a pic of the first 50 rds I fired into 1 target, mine has been 100% flawless for about 400+ rds so far.

How does that thing shoot? I had the PF9 and 9mm in that small of a gun had a hell of a kick and just really didn't care for the feel.

Yeah, that's what I was looking at and tacking on $40 for the transfer.

I just hate buying something without handling it first, and don't want to take a bath if I hate it and want to sell it.

Oh well, still have some time before summer (want it for summer carry). Will stick with the G19 for now and keep looking for someone with them in stock.

    Thanks!

It is a Kahr. You do not have to worry about it being different, one from the other. Kahr has standards that go into each of their firearms, even the less expensive ones. With that being said, you should try to find one to shoot (if you have not done so yet) before you purchase. The particular model you are asking about is snappy, but very controllable. I would not classify it as a shooter's handgun like the G17, M&P 9, HK P30 or USP, or even a Taurus 24/7 Pro (my favorite "shooter"), but it makes a great carry gun. JMHO

$410 OTD is a very good price.

The recoil from my CW9 is no problem, light actually IMO for a small gun.

The PF9 is a lighter gun and has a higher bore axis which contribute to more felt recoil/muzzle flip. I have a LCP also, and even being a .380 it has more recoil/flip then the CW9. For the same reasons. Also the grip of the CW/P Kahr's is better designed and the trigger is worlds better then the PF9. IMO

I really like my Kahr and am very glad I own it. I also plan on picking up another one when the new CM9's come out.

I wish you guys where closer to me I would let you take it for a test drive.

    Just an FYI,
I mentioned it above but wanted to expand on it a bit for you, Kahr is going to be bringing out (April) a CM9 that will be a PM9 sized gun with the features of a CW series gun and should have about the same $400 dollar price tag too. I plan on getting one for another pocket carry gun option, I don't know if that is of interest to you or not.

I have a pm9 and it's no doubt the best carry piece I own. I'd buy the cw9 in a heartbeat, just don't need one right now!

What I like about the CW9: It is very thin, and light and easy to carry; the trigger is long but smooth and predictable; the recoil is light IMO; it is VERY accurate for this size and weight of a gun; and the grip is very comfortable. In Delaware, I got mine for $420 last year, of course, no tax.

At one of the group shoots out in Pittsburgh I was consistently hitting 6 to 8 inch steel plates at 25 yards with my CW9.
