Raccoon and Opossum HELP

so im sitting here bored at home so i have a question for you guys, can i just grab my 22/12 gauge and walk the woods and find some raccoons or opossums? well i know i can, im just wondering if thats how you guys do it because i have no dogs/calls. Just a gun, spotlight and a furbearer license. How slim are my chances just walking and spotlighting with no calling?

Depending where you are you have a decent chance. I've floated down creeks in a jonboat looking for raccoons a opossums. I've also seen them around the farm I worked on when I was in high school. I didn't hunt them then so It was no matter to me. So to answer your question, yes it is possible to do that. Good luck.
