and yes they do have a pretty good selection for the area, right by that cheese factory."You never lived till you almost died, for those who have fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know"

Re: Guiser's Guns in Sunbury
I guess it depends what you are looking for...
I have bought some reloading stuff from them, but I would NEVER buy a gun from them. They are ALWAYS outrageous....
examples:
new XD9 service ---- $539 (Geiser) vs. $447 (Young's in Northumberland)
Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded ------- $879 (Geiser) vs. $769 (Youngs)
Glock 26 ----------- $560 (Geiser) vs. $489 (Young's)
Savage Edge .308 ------- $370 (Geiser) vs. $299 (Young's)
I am only citing Young's because it is the closest shop to Geiser that I know of.Last edited by jachrist; February 9th, 2011 at 01:33 AM.

Re: Guiser's Guns in Sunbury
I've had positive and negative experiences with Geisers for example - I wanted a Sig Trailside a few years ago, Geisers was the only shop in the area that said they could get one. Gave them my dough and 2 months later still nothing. I asked for my money back and in the process of shopping I realized the price i got from them was pretty high.
On the flip side I walked in and found a S&W 422 for 200 bucks out the door. Was in perfect shape, came with the box and the Rem oil and patches still in the original packaging. You can't beat that price.
Their reloading components are a little salty but when it comes down to driving someplace else to get them, it just isn't worth the saving of 2 bucks on a can of power and primers.
Nice selection...prices can be high on certain items but the price on Browning firearms are very competitive; and no one said you can't haggle a little.
Youngs also is a very friendly shop. Unfortunately their selection is limited.
