    Default Florida CCW program North Jersey

    Firearms Training Expert Anthony Colandro and
    Attorney Dan Schmutter to be the Featured Speakers at the
    February 16, 2011 Meeting of the NJ2AS in Belleville, NJ
    The Popular Florida CCW Licensing Program will also be conducted and expanded (described below).

    NJ2AS is very pleased to announce that our meeting for February has been scheduled:

    February 16, 2011, 7:30 PM
    @Gun For Hire's North Facility
    75 Rutgers St.
    Belleville, NJ 07109
    (directions and parking: http://gunforhire.com/location-north.html

    We are lucky to have two very interesting speakers for the event.

    Anthony Colandro is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Gun For Hire. Pretty much everyone on this forum should be familiar with Anthony and his organization. Anthony is one of only six Master Training Councilors for the NRA and travels constantly to train law enforcement, celebrities and us regular folks. If you have been debating whether or not to take one of Anthony's classes, this will be a great opportunity to meet him and hear about his approach to firearms training. You can learn more about Anthony and Gun For Hire here: http://gunforhire.com/home.html

    Dan Schmutter is an attorney in Westfield, NJ that wrote an Amicus Brief for the Supreme Court Case Heller v. D.C. on behalf of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership. You can read an article that Dan wrote about the Heller decision here http://jpfo.org/filegen-n-z/schmutter-post-heller.htm and you can read his amicus brief here http://jpfo.org/pdf/jpfo-amicus-brief.pdf Dan recently appeared on Judge Napolitano's Freedom Watch and has also done work for the Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs and has been a friend and supporter of NJ2AS.

    In addition to our guest speakers, we will continue our partnership with Gun For Hire to provide you with the very popular FL CCW station (details here: http://nj2as.com/index.php?option=co...iew=article&am ... The exciting part is that we have expanded the FL CCW station to accommodate prints, photos and notary for ccw applications for ANY state. That means if you are applying for the AZ CCW, you can do your prints, photos and notary at our meeting. The cost is the same, $50 for non-members and $25 for members with the ability to join NJ2AS on the spot to get the discounted rate. FL CCW applications will be provided as before, but if you are doing another State, bring your completed application with you.

    Lastly, we have been paying attention to your comments and, therefore, we will be discussing two important projects that NJ2AS is working on that are not CCW related, but are, however, related to two of the most common complaints about NJ heard on NJGF and other forums that affect all gun owners. We will discuss this briefly at the next meeting during a "members only" session, because the information is sensitive.
    Your support and participation is important and appreciated. Without you, NJ2AS would not have been able to make such great strides in the last few months. Thanks for your support. Looking forward to seeing you there!
