When applying for a LTCF...
Can I go to any PD in the county to get the check card done? Or does it have to be my township police?
I live in Abington, but I'm actually closer to Cheltenham's PD.

Re: When applying for a LTCF...
I heard that the licensing places got in trouble for this before. Basically, it's 45.00 for the nice laminated copy or I think around 25.00 or so for just the paper version, but they weren't giving people the option and just charging the higher amount. My opinion to the OP is to get the cheaper version, go to staples and buy self laminating cards, and save yourself around 10.00.
I would rather die in a shootout than get assassinated in a "gun free zone"

From the Pennsylvania Uniform Firearms Act
TITLE 18
PA CRIMES CODES
§6109. Licenses (To Carry Firearms)
(7) A person who sells or attempts to sell a license to carry a firearm for a fee in excess of the amounts fixed under this subsection ($25.00) commits a summary offense.

mine was $25, and it is the fancy dl type. Looks like the local residents need to write letters complaining about the illegal fees
