It does indeed have texture. The AR I did is not that rough. It may have smooth out some as it fully cured. The AlumiHyde is a combination of epoxy and paint. Perhaps the Parkerized color has a texturizing agent as well? I'll update in a few weeks to see if it smoothed out any.
