I just bought 2 Gen4 Glocks!

I bought a G17 Gen4 with trijicon night sights and a G26 Gen4 with trijicon night sights from Ed's public safety at individual officer pricing. Can't wait till they get here! If any of you guys are EMTs or security guards its definitely worth taking advantage of the deal. (Gun, 3 magazines, bigger cases and everything else you normally get.) I'm going to be wearing a s**t-eating grin when I take them to the range for the innaugural run.

Good luck. The 4th gens have a spotty record so far, I think the 17's have had less isssues than the still not right 19's.

I just picked up my Gen4 G27, and already had the Gen4 G19. Luv them both. My G19 has been FLAWLESS w/ over 1k rounds

The sales guy I talked to told me they had sold out of both guns earlier that week and it would be mid-week next week before more came in. So a range report will be a little while in coming, but have no fear. I got rid of the ball and chain so I have my camera back now. I was glad that he said it would be next week and not five weeks, when I called delia's to place the order, they were just like "Glock has been taking months to get our stuff to us and when it does get here, its only half of what we ordered." So I called Ed's and the sales rep said they have a lot more leverage because they are the #1 LE distributor in the country so they get what they want, pretty much whenever they want it. He did allow as to how demand was so high recently that they were having trouble keeping up.

As for there not being any more 1911s. "When I shoot 1911s, I shoot 1911s. When I shoot glocks, I shoot glocks." I love my 1911 though. I will likely love my Glocks just as much when I get them.

Good buy. I have two Gen 4 19s and am thinking of getting a Gen 4 26, the smaller grip (from what I have read/heard, I haven't gone out and handled one yet) might be the ticket, especially if the "hump" on the back of the grip has been reduced.

My wife has two Gen 3 26s, and while I like them, that "hump" on the back of the grip keeps it from being ideal for me.

Delia's seems to take a while to get their orders in. Another option (besides Ed's) is Atlantic Tactical in New Cumberland. I picked up my G22 there (GSSF price, so pretty much the same deal you got). I got a peek through the door into their stock room, and there were blue-labelled Glock boxes pretty much floor to ceiling and wall to wall. Bit of a drive from Philly, but nice folks to deal with.
