Good things come from Berryville
My new pistol........ some will love it,,,,, some will hate it. Oh well, I happen to love it, it's all mine and there are no others like it.
In case your wondering its a Wilson Combat CQB Elite... lolGeorge,

Nice looking gun, too bad they are using your slide for a billboard, but looks good otherwise.

Re: Good things come from Berryville
Congratulations. How does it feel to own one of the best 1911's money can buy. I agree with 39Flathead in that it could be a little less in the advertising on the slide, but hey, I wouldn't turn it away. Heck, if I am ever able to get a WC, I am going to stand on a ladder at the range so that the sign that hangs from the gun saying "This is a Wilson Combat," will roll all the way down.

Re: Good things come from Berryville
Wilson allows you to pick the script, any Microsoft script, for the pistol. You can get it with no script, naked slide. This is my first Wilson and I didn't want to answer the question of 'what kind of pistol is that?'. Like War Wagon mentioned, I'm privileged to have a Wilson and I don't have to drag the ladder and banner out of the truck.
I ordered it on 10/1/10 and requested a "birthday" of 1/19/11 (test target fired). It was ordered with;
All stainless
Medium trigger
Thin grips
Extra carry de-horn
Flush cut slide stop
Full length guide rod
Flush cut & crowned barrel
Omit FCS
Fluted barrel
Armor-tuff trigger, thumb safety, slide release, hammer, mag release, plunger tube.
EDIT: All barstock SS, no MIM or plastic
This will be my triple threat, EDC, Range, Barbecue pistol. If I'm ever in the position to get another Wilson, maybe it'll have a naked slide.
Thanks, all, for the compliments.Last edited by thundrr1; January 28th, 2011 at 08:54 AM.
