Default Car gun? glock 22/44sw with big mags or glock 20/10mm

    Advice time-

I'm looking for a car gun, and my question boils down to either:

Option 1) Glock 20 in 10mm. Nice strong round, penetration, car doors, cons: 15 round magazine & I can't find big stick magazines for it.

Option 2) Glock 22 in 40sw. 30 round stick magazines, slower round. cons: it's not the power of the 10mm.

I have no idea which direction to go, and could use some advice. Thanks!

Why keep a pistol as a car gun? Don't you carry a pistol already?

    I would say a 15 rnd mag for a 10mm is a pro not a con.

With that said if it's strictly a car gun I would go 10mm, only con is price of ammo.

For hunting zombies? G20 dude, if you have to keep a gun in your car, that is. $$$ for ammo and $$$ for some backup mags.

Doesn't that hold something like 3 shots?

The point of a trunk gun is to extend your range and firepower. Pistols and gimmicky AOWs do neither.

Iwb and pocket carry are difficult to reach while seated in the car. Even my occasionally used Owb holster isn't quick to grab while in the car.

Price prohibitive at this point in life. Tax stamps.

You could look at a different approach. If you could find a way to secure it but still get to it fast why not something like a .223 pistol? I only mention it because I own a van and was tossing around the ideal for a good vehicle gun myself.

Pocket carry might be a problem, but otherwise this sounds like a training issue. Where would you be keeping your car gun that is more accessible?
