some weekend project
After spending $9.43 at Joann Fabrics....
and after 9 bloody holes on your finger from threading needle....
after your GF tells you that your wasting your money and time for over 3 hours...
Vo'ra... You get a tactical 3 point slig for less then 10 bucks!
Not too shabby eh?

Re: some weekend project
it wan't the because I didn't have money to buy sling.
It was because I think its worng that company where I looked to buy sling wanted almost $50 for what cost then less then $10 to buy.
this is what I wanted
They wanted $39 for it, plus almost $10 for S/S. F that.
I looked around and I dicided to make one after finding nylon web and all the small stuff when I was running arrend for my mother.
I searched the net, and found somewhat of detail picture, and "basically"(but not entirely) made the samething. Its prolly not identical, because I've actally never seen tactical 3 point harness, but I think it cameout well.
This below(and fat dude above) are the pic I used.

Re: some weekend project
I told my wife we had to stop at Joann Fabrics so I could get parts for my lathe (leather lacing for the belt) and she just looked at me funny. Funnier than usual.

Re: some weekend project
I believe that there is a post on www.ar15.com that tells and shows how to make one (one more) type of ar sling. IIRC the one that I saw you didn't have to do any sewing. When I have a chance I'll go there to see what I can find and report back.

Re: some weekend project
I haven't been on AR15.com in long time because someone of knowlege once told me that things in AR15.com sometimes you have to take it with grain of solt...
Who was that ron!
If you can do it without sawing, it'll definately be worth doing it on your own. My finger with several extra holes still hurts man....Audemus jura nostra defendere
