Re: "The big ten inch"
I'm thrilled other people have drawn the joker connection. My brother has been calling it the Joker gun since day one and I had to revisit the movie to get the joke. If you do mount an optic please throw some pictures/results up. I'd like to see how it works out. Again, welcome to the club!

Re: "The big ten inch"
One more hint, we had to add sticky shims over the trigger pin to keep it from walking as our Volqu. grips seemed to have a little slack in that area. I have no idea how many rounds it took before this showed up as we were shooting about 500 rds. a week that year. We ended up buying a pair of custom wood laminate grips with a heel shelf and a flatter bottom for the two hand hold.

Re: "The big ten inch"
That's a sweet looking revolver. I bet it shoots REAL nice with the long barrel, being a .45.

Re: "The big ten inch"
Dregan,
I bought the Colt new in 1986. The hammer has never been cocked nor has the cylinder been turned. The gun has never been shot or even loaded.
