Need Help With Skunk
Bad skunk problem here at home for past couple years. Finally had enough and paid a pest removal company to remove 6 last year. That got too expensive so I got some traps when they returned this year.
Caught one yesterday, it's in the trap in my backyard. Can someone get rid of this thing for me? Don't have the heart to go out and shoot it. No discharge ordinance in township so have to be careful anyway. Called a guy who was Director of the region from PA Trappers website, left message, guy never called back. I'm in West Chester.
Thanks

Re: Need Help With Skunk
Got a lawn mower? HOLD ON A MINUTE! I was not going to recommend doing a smelly, backyard rendition of "kitten in the blender". I mean, yeah, it'd be a heck of a lot of fun, but then you gotta clean up the yard. Cleaning the yard would be a lot easier than cleaning my Mom's kitchen was, but, hey it's the yard, so just how clean does it need to be? Besides it's gonna snow tonight!
Where was I? Oh yeah, get the lawnmower out, cover the trap with a tarp. Look at that, 'trap' and 'tarp' have EXACTLY the same amount of letters! Fire up the lawnmower and push it under the tarp next to the cage. Let it run for an hour. Troubles gone quicker than you can say "No striped kittys in Heaven".
Glad I could help.

55 gallon drum of water does the trick too.
Rules are written in the stone,

all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Oh boy.........Go out, shake the cage until it sprays you.(if it has enough room to rear up) Then I'm sure you'll have no problem shooting the damn thing right in the face. I am really curious what Ranger 125 grain T-series .357 Sig would do to it though. I've heard it turns them inside out.

Head shot with a decent air riffle.
It's not a "firearm"!
Or send the neighbors dog.. Have any neighbors you don't like? Lasso it and throw it in their yard. Not your problem anymore!

[QUOTE=CHEMICAL;1474560]Illegal to take animals in Pa with any "Air powered" rifle. I think it's a perfect excuse to buy a suppressor though.[/QUOTE
Ok then, see if it likes Glycol.
