Question Any 500+ yard rifle ranges in Allegheny county or nearby?

Looking for a range where I can stretch my rifle's legs. My range only goes to 200. I'm willing to drive a bit, but the closer the better. I live in the North Hills.

    Thanks,
    Bill

I couldn't tell you of any 500 yard ranges. PMSC's rifle range has 50, 100, 200, and 300 yard ranges, and there is talk of building a 500+ yard range, but I don't know of anyone in the area with that kind of distance right now.

Lawrence County Sportsman Association, north of Pittsburgh about 60 mins has a 600 yd rifle range.

I am not a member there, but I do shoot the IDPA matches at that club.

Question Re: Any 500+ yard rifle ranges in Allegheny county or nearby?

Isn't the one in MacDonald, PA (nw Washington Co.), a 600 yard range? The Dormont/Mt. Lebo Club (yeah - it's nowhere NEAR Dormont/Mt. Lebo )?

This needs to happen. The idea got benched when the meeting turned into a curcus. PMSC will hava a 600 yard range at some point. If we keep bringing it up at the meeting we might not have to wait for some grouchy old farts to die first.

McDonald is actually out to 600 meters. Dormont/Mt Lebo is only 200 meters
