You live once you must go, no options you will go.
I was out last weekend and found some jakes and hens up on Wind Gap Mountain. I also saw a shit ton of hens at my dads farm.(which is pretty rare)

There are a shit load of turkey in Lebanon county. Ft Indiantown Gap has more turkey than I have ever seen in one place. If you don't have permission to hunt on FtIG, you can hunt the SGL just to the north of the base/training areas.

You have to contact Range Control and sit through a briefing. They have already done the briefings for the year (usually in September). If you want to hunt on base next year, you have to make it to the next briefing...

Once you complete the briefing/training, you can hunt on post. They have a lottery type system for rifle season. For turkey, I think you just stop in and see what sections of post are available for hunting...

Here is the latest Pocono siting of turkey's. Take 84 toward Lords Valley. take 739 to the Lumber 84 turn right on to the well rd. Go 1.2 miles to the parking lot on the right. I saw turkeys there this morning it is Game Lands.

Okay, the season is upon us, and I need some info/advice. I want a new choke tube and I want to try some new 3" magnum turkey loads. Anyone have any recommendations on some they have had sucess with? Also, anyone know of an easier way to camo an all black shotgun?

    Turkey spotting update.

Anyone else seeing birds? I have a few running around the house. These 2 are probably looking for a ride across the valley.
This year seems to be bad for poults as I only see one. Last year (earlier pic) there was a shitpot full of the young'uns.

These few and a couple of squirrels are enjoying the bird feeder leftovers that the bluejays and woodpeckers are kicking out.
