Delaware Valley Sports Center: Thumbs up!

I also want to give a good review to Delaware Valley Sports Center in Philadelphia. I stopped in there yesterday on my way to school and told them that I had never fired a firearm before but was interested in concealed carry. A very helpful young lady went through the absolute basics of gun design, considerations for concealed carry, differences between a carry piece and a range gun, manufacturers, etc. She even took me out to the range to fire 5 rounds through two different revolvers to get a feel for shooting period and to get a feel for each weapon.

The staff at Delaware Valley Sports Center also told me again and again that t hey wanted me to only purchase something that I would be comfortable with, even if I didn't purchase it from them.Even though I didn't buy from them (their prices for their revolvers were a little high for my taste given that they were used), I will be forever indebted to them for all the info they provided which gave me greater confidence when I made my purchase today elsewhere.

For me at least, they have been wonderful folks. I hope to make my future purchases there.
