    Default Broken H&R Model 949

I was at the range tonight when the front extractor screw broke on my H&R Model 949 .22 revolver. I noticed the front of the extractor assembly hanging askew after I fired about 50 rounds through it. I've taken the revolver home and was able to remove the screw and the broken portion which goes into the front of the barrel without much difficulty.

Questions: Where can I get parts for this revolver? Am I able to get parts for it? Are there any reliable online sources for Harrington and Richardson parts? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No problem. Hope they have the parts you need. Remington's CSD may be able to give you some info, as well.

You might want to check out Numrich also:

    Link to H&R 949 parts: http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/...spx?catid=7932

Looks like part #10, listed as "Ejector Housing Screw, Front"....shows in stock at $1.55

I have ordered from Numrich many times, good outfit.

If they do not have it (sometimes stuff is out of stock), you could also try Jack First, they do not have an online catalog though. Here is a link to the site with the phone #, real nice folks and also good to do business with: http://www.jackfirstgun.com/order.php

    Good luck.

Thanks, everyone. I was able to locate the screw and ordered it. I also ordered the rear screw just in case.
