As if the Judge werent enough, now comes "the Governor"
From S&W:
Article here
Just what we needed. Now if only they market it similar to Taurus, we can have a new torrent of fudds and ninjas declaring it to be the bees knees in a do-it-all self defense gun.
This comes the same day as the new "Raging Judge" already posted here.
But I can hardly blame S&W for jumping into the market. Too bad that anyone seriously considers it anything but a novelty.Last edited by Justin; January 18th, 2011 at 08:54 PM.
Sec. 21. The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.
Sec. 25. To guard against transgressions of the high powers which we have delegated, we declare that everything in this article is excepted out of the general powers of government and shall forever remain inviolate.

I tried to tell the guys on TOS that Taurus and Smith are still in bed together.

Re: As if the Judge werent enough, now comes "the Governor"
not to offend taurus lovers here, but when i saw the judge, i loved it but stayed away from it cuz it had taurus stamped on it. i have another taurus and had a nightmarish experience with customer service.
that being said, i also have the SW 686+ and i can tell you it is indestructible, customer service should never be bothered, however, i am told dealing with them is prompt and polite.
and now this!!! sigh......the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

We already collectively gagged earlier with this gun:
http://forum.pafoa.org/pistols-41/12...-revolver.htmlJeff Cooper was a huge supporter of gun games, when he was winning them at least...

Read these comments in another article and I think they sum it up for me.
"Wow, I think they even managed to out-ugly the Judge. That’s an accomplishment."
"Taurus, you should be sentenced to hell for coming up with this idea.
Oh and the irony of S&W copying a Taurus design is just too sweet!"

I always worried about the quality of Taurus 410s. Now I can spend enough money for a scam-dium S&W 410 knowing that no watermelons will be safe.

I thought that they would have called it the Jury.

Nothing wrong with having a novelty pistol, as long as you understand that's what it is...
