    Default Hunter Safety 2011

Looking thru the schedule for this year's HS classes. I found this one at the same location I took my Basic Pistol course.

But...isn't HS generally a 2 day course? This one lists it one day 6p-10p.

I sent an email to the instructor...i just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

I believe I spent two or three weeknights and good portion of following Saturday in the classroom. Yours is just doesn't sound right. I took my classes at Nockamixon. They were performed by the game commission and were free. And I did like the quality of it.

upd: it might also be a date for the first class, since the software might not allow instructor to input all hours and days, so he did just the first session.

I thought of that...but every other location lists all relevant days for their class.

    Strange.

Let's wait for his response, since you wrote him already.

It looks like it might be the independent study course, but put into the wrong calender.

    Let us know.

I know for a fact that mine was a 2 day course. It was a friday night, and a full saturday. It was about 12 hours all together. Also taught by PAGC Officers.

Response from instructor....there is indeed a 2nd day...

Yes, there is a second day for the class. There are two days Thursday May 5th and Saturday May 7th. Thursday's clas begins at 6:00 to 20:00 PM. Saturday begins at 8:00 Am and enda around 3:30. You must attend both sessions to beccome certified. Saturday we will provide lunch.
Guessing the 20:00 is supposed to be 10:00pm.

yeah I know that...but the PCG site says 6p-10p....and his throwing PM on the end of it makes me think he meant 10:00pm...simple typo...

Allright. It's good to know he's by the book, and doesn't let people out into the woods after just 3 hour class
