Anyone know what happened to HarborSite USANA gun club? Just went on their site and saw they went out of business due to some lawsuit. Thanks

Shoot, I was a member, too, along with some of my friends. They allowed the .50 BMG. Now I must go elsewhere.

Sometimes I think that if you want to shoot in the future it will be on private land only.

So this poses a problem of carrying your firearms to a "range." Is private property considered a "range" which would make it acceptable by law to travel with firearms in your vehicle?

LRGC has had similar issues with neighbors but so far their petitions and complaints haven't had any effect. When it was built there were only a few farmhouses nearby but today it has a development a few hundred yards behind it. People bought houses behind a range then complained about it. We do take them into consideration with a sundown rule and no firing before 8am. As is standard, we also stress safe shooting directions and are actively watching for misuse of the range and violation of rules. A few weeks ago police arrived because of a noise complaint. It was Trap Night. It's been the same day of the week(Thur)for decades. Probably a new resident who once again did no research into the area they were buying a home. Here comes a new petition.

My friend at work is a member of this range. He told me about this.

Habor site is close cause of zone and noise. got a letter from USANA, the group that own the land prior to Haborsite, they got the land back and MIGHT reopen it and from what i've been told, IF they reopen they'll honor the memberships, IE if range close for 1 month, they'll extend your current membership by a month.
