Carrying at Wells Fargo Center
Is anyone aware of any security procedures that would prohibit carry into the Wells Fargo Center? Any in-depth pat downs and such that would detect something like a 2.5" Ruger SP101 carried either IWB or OWB?

They wand you, but not real thorough.

Depends who you get and really how you look. I have had nothing to a waistband pat down TSA style.

Is a Wells Fargo Center somehow more special than just a Wells Fargo Bank? I've never been patted down, nor is there anyone with a wand at my bank.

They wand, but it is pretty weak. They have storage lockers available in the security office. It is on the corner of Pattison and 11th by a door that is unmarked.
Just knock on the door and tell them you need to lock it up. You put it in, lock it, take the key and they give you a receipt. I have always experienced them to be quite friendly and always professional.
After the event stop in the office, which is behind section 116, give them the receipt, unlock your locker, strap up, and head on home.
Oh, don't get freaked out if the PPD are in there as well. They have a computer in there for writing up scalpers and angry drunks during the events. I had one ask me once if I had a "permit", I responded yes, and he just nodded and I moved on without having to show it! *gasp*Active Citizen

Just called their premium services #. Was told firearms are not allowed, and no firearms lockers are available.

Re: Carrying at Wells Fargo Center
FWIW: Every time I've gone in the main entrances I get wanded. Every time I go in a certain restaurant or similar entrance there isn't any wanding. The last game I went to was 2 weeks ago against Florida. North entrance, wanded. Had left my Glock in my vehicle in a secured storage case, mounted in the vehicle.

Re: Carrying at Wells Fargo Center
Depends on the event. I have season tickets to a team that plays there and have never been wanded going in the entrance by section 114.
