W.E. Sells - Hanover PA

I was meeting another member over at W.E Sells for a handgun transfer and sale and since this was my first time there I wanted to get there early to look around. Very nice shop with three large walls of rifles/shotguns and a small/medium sized collection of handguns.

If you are in the market for a Brown firearms, then they should be your stop. They also had a large selection of ammunition as well as large and small primers and powder.

There were two gentlemen in the shop working and did their best to ensure everyone was being helped. When the store got busy they did what they could to get everyone in and out.

I wish it was a little closer, although I feel I would be spending a lot of money there. I will definitely place it on my list of great shops within an hour of me.

I stop by every few months to look around, they do have a lot of hunting rifles and shotguns, but the handgun selection is on the small side. How much do they charge for transfers? Haven't needed one done in a while but I need to find someone local for future reference.

Same price for internet purchases? That's not bad, most places I've checked charge $25-$35, and Sells is only a 10 minutes drive for me.

Never been there, but Sell's handled the transfer/shipping for my recent trade with TwistedCopper very quickly. (Tanner's handled 'my' end of the deal.)

Sold a pistol to member "Evan" and did the transfer there, first time there but it won't be my last.

I live two blocks from there and I pop in from time to time to drool . Also, bought my Taurus PT145 from them and had another pistol transfered to them from a shop in Missouri. Great people to work with.

My whole family has bought guns from W.E. Sell, great place to shop. I happen to also know they not only know PAFOA they are on the forums lurking. I live just the other side of the square. /wave

Yep, have bought a few guns there myself. It's family owned with all the employees having the same attitude to customer service. Been going there for the last 25 years and have found some nice deals on used guns there.
