AK & AR - do you own both, or partial to just one?

I own 2 AKs. They are great as piece of legendary firearms history, and a hoot to shoot.

I own 1.5 ARs. Once you jump from an airplane with a rifle, it holds a place in your heart. Just had to have one. Still saving for the M60 and a LOT of belted 7.62.

Own 3 AK's right now. Actually started to build an AR. Decided I would rather dump my money into more ammo and mags for the AK's I have. Also prefer to stock up on just one type of ammo. So, I went the way of the AK and haven't looked back.

I own both, but prefer my AK as a fighting rifle.

I don't own either, yet. However the AR holds a special place in my heart because it's light, accurate, very customizable and it's American designed/built. In time I plan on owning several variants of both the AR and AK.
