Since I have a little backyard range, I try to get out at least two times a week with the handguns and small caliber rifles if not more. I love shooting clays but lately this cold weather really put a stop to shooting them. I'm hoping by spring I'll be back to doing that once a week.

I budget one day per week, and will open and close the range that day. Extra hours in the pay check means an extra trip here and there. Back in the day, I lived at the range, but my wife did one of those wife things, and now...

I make at least one trip for pistol a week, normally try to keep it under 200 rounds, sometimes 100. Sometimes twice a week depending on how busy I am that week I may try to stop out a second time.

Rifle shooting is a bit more sporadic. Once a month, sometimes more.

Thumbs up Re: How often do you practice shooting?

I'm working more on technique with snap caps these days, but hope to hit the range MUCH more with my new .22 AR this spring!

Currently I go to the range for a structured practice session every other week. I also try to shoot an IDPA match once a month.

Dry fire practice sessions 2x each week.

I go twice a week. One time for pistol about 150 rounds and the other rifle 200 rounds. I reload and this drives cost down.

How often do I practice shooting? Or go shooting?

Now I only get a chance to shoot every couple of months or so. Before moving up here and starting school, I was at the range two to three times a week. The last time I was out shooting, I noticed that I wasn't shooting as well as I had been six months ago.
loose≠lose; you're=you are; 'your' shows possession.
