which Glock to buy?
Guys I'm looking for a new Glock. I was originally looking at 3, 30,36 and 19; I don't think I'm interested in the 36 now cause I want higher capacity, so it's between the 30 and the 19. I am going to use this as a carry gun and I am mostly thinking about the warmer months cause for winter I carry my 1911. I have ammo already for both calibers and reload for the range so I guess I would like to know why you would pick one or the other of the 2. I'm not wanting to hear to go to the store and decide for myself as I'm going tonight, but I would like to hear your opinions on this. Thanks for helping out.

Re: which Glock to buy?
I voted G19 b/c imho its one of the best all around guns out there and will fit your requirement of a dedicated summer time gun (it is thinner than the G30). I have both, love both. Really you can't go wrong either way. the g19 is probably more comfy to carry but not much so. My G30sf in a crossbreed supertuck rides just fine iwb.
Now less Glock, more H&K :)

My vote went to the G19. Just an all around classic and cheaper ammunition means more shooting! What's not to love about that?

Re: which Glock to buy?
I voted G19. I had a G30 & sold it because me & that gun just never quite "bonded." I don't know why. I just never got to really like it.
I have a G23, which is the same size as the 19 & it's a great carry gun. The grip's not too small to handle comfortably, but it's still small enough to conceal easily."It's hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong."

I too carry a Glock 23. Since the 19 is the same size, I vote for that one. It's a great size to carry.
Check out the 23!!

Another G23 owner/lover. While it isn't my main carry gun (G27), it easily could be and is a great shooter. Check it out.

I voted G19. Its a good gun to introduce yourself to the Glocks. You will probably be buying more Glocks in the future so you can pick up a G30 then.

Voted G19 here. I carry a G26 just so I can switch mag size/capacity as needed but love the G19's in my safe.
