Default Sig p220 for $418 and p229 for $328 new?

A local shop has one of each left. From what I gather these prices are insanely low. Is this like a deal I'll kick myself in the ass for if I don't snag one?

They have the sig sauer packaging band around the grip and trigger. Do factory refurbs come like this? Is it possible at these prices they are refurb police trade-ins or something?

I have a feeling the shop boy behind the counter was mistaken that they were new sigs.

    I'm seriously considering the p229.

I would have bought both in about a minute.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

At that price, I would be trying to beat you to the door.

These are usually factury refurbished. They go thru a complete overhaul and are just like new.

I would've tripped both of you.

A red grip band signifies Sig Certified Pre-Owned.

I'll be going back on my lunch break tomorrow and calling in the morning to make sure the p229 is still there. It had a blue band. I'm gonna be kicking myself in the ass if it's gone. Hard. It was right before closing two days ago. What arethe chances he sold two .45s and the 9?

At those prices? I'd say the chances are pretty good. Get your ass back there. I'd snatch them both up if I were you. You could turn an easy profit on either of them, especially the 229. Even if they're CPO guns that's still an awesome price.

I think you should pm me the name of the shop and I'll call them for you just to be sure the guns are still there :wink wink:

Crap man- I'd have snarfed up both in a nanosecond!! Used P220's (not Sig Certified) go for $575-$750 all the time and the P229's fly off the shelf at $450.

Honestly if I was you what I would do is call into work and tell them your gonna be late because....(insert emergency here). Then get to the gun shop as soon as the doors open. Best of Luck. Keep us updates!
