Where can I pick up a non-resident Utah permit at?
Or can I get an application on the net somewhere?
I can't seem to find the answer anywhere!

you will need to take a Utah training class. Seeing your from mercer county you could probably make the trip to Pittsburgh and take the class given by the F.I.R.E institute(http://www.fireinstitute.org/). It was pretty painless, and well worth it, your not gonna find one given for that price either, most are around double that.
At the class you will get a fingerprint card, and the application. You will have to go and get a passport photo taken(walgreens, eckerd, most of those places with photo places in them), go to a police station and get fingerprinted. send it in and wait a few months. I sent mine in mid-September, and got it back right around a week ago, so almost exactly 3months

Re: Where can I pick up a non-resident Utah permit at?
We don't have any classes scheduled in the remainder of 2007. I was contacted by a gun shop owner who wants me to run a class at the sportsmen's club he belongs to somewhere in Beaver County.
We're tentativley scheduled for 01/12/08.
I see no reason the club would object to non members attending. When things firm up I'll post in the training forum.

PA's process is extremely easy compared to most states. Here in Texas you have to do the class, the proficiency test, and fingerprints before you can send it off to DPS (department of public safety) who issues the permit. Plus it's expensive. You have to pay for the class, plus the license.
