Truglo sights question
I just put some Truglo sights on my glock (store installed) they are very bright and I like them. The only problem I have now is they are making my gun shoot low (about 2-3 inches). I thought it was me, but when I switched to my XDM in 9mm it shot a very tight group. I am shooting at approximately 10 yards.

Did not have that problem at all. Using the same on a 26.

Re: Truglo sights question
You have the wrong rear sight. Glocks have a -1, 0, and +1 height. If you bought the sights at the installing store, take it back.

Re: Truglo sights question
Which would the glock 17 be? I have the TG-H3 on the rear of my glock.

Re: Truglo sights question
I just looked at the Truglo website and the Glock sights end with a G, not an H (H&K). Here's the website I looked at:
http://www.truglosights.com/images/Handgun%20Chart.pdf
And I wasn't totally correct with the sight heights, there's also a +2.

Re: Truglo sights question
That would be 6.5 mm (assuming your 17 isn't a long-slide). Glock marks that sight with a long bar.
The other standard Glock heights are 6.1 mm, which is a short bar under a long bar, 6.9 mm, which is a short bar over a long bar, and 7.3 mm, which is two short bars over a long bar.

Re: Truglo sights question
I was wondering about the truglo item number on the sights. I understand that glocks vary, but still it says that the truglo sights fits
Glock 17 / 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 33, 34, 35, 38 and 39."I quote no authors but God and experience" Principles Osteopathy

Re: Truglo sights question
Per the Armorer's manual, the 6.5 mm rear sight comes standard on the 17, 17C, 19, 19C, 22, 22C, 23, 23C, 24, 24C, 26, 27, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, and 39.
The table states the 17L comes standard with the 6.1mm height rear sight, and in fact is the only model that has that sight as standard.
However the table also notes that the rear sight height may vary due to factory test-firing.
(Front sight heights are the same across all models.)

Re: Truglo sights question
Thanks! I didn't see that. If you have tight groups do you guys think it matters if you are shooting 2 inches low?
