    Default Updates to my Stag

Seeing as there is some good porn going on tonight......Here are a couple of before and after pics of the Stag. Picked up the YHM modular fore end, YHM Front gas block with flip up sight and YHM bipod mount. I really like the fact that you still have a smooth hand surface and can still add rails wherever nessecary.

When I brought it home..with a couple of adds

    Added the Eotech

And now with the new additions

Also picked up a Chicom 3-9 illuminated scope to fool around with at the range.

I like the fact that I can just switch the riser blocks to switch the optics. It is a fun little piece.

Lookin' good! How do you like the EOTech? It was a close race between one of those and the Aimpoint I decided to go with.

I like it for 100 yrds and less, but I am an accuracy freak, and my eyes are not good enough for anything longer than that...hense the chicom 3X9. It is only going to get used during broad daylight, so the normal shortcomings of the inferior glass really are not that bad. I like to use it when trying different ammo to really see the difference of the load rather than the inconsitancy of my eyesight.
    Thanks for the kind words.

Yeah, I'm with you there my eyesight is getting worse, so I don't think I'd be able to use it past 100 either. I'll tell you what, though, if you have over a grand to drop on an optic, I would get a Trijicon Acog. Wouldn't have any trouble then.

not an sbr, just a carbine length. This stems from the way that my range is set up, and a lack of sandbags. It is nice to have a solid front rest with a bi-pod. I can pop that off in a jiff if i am in a different situation.
