Hi
Just a "hello" from a new member here.
Got my first pistol for Christmas (shot 12ga and rifles for many years).
Figured I'd sign up here
In the macungie area and devoid of good spots to shoot. Waterfalls is never open lol, 1/2" snow and it shuts down <sigh>
Boy does the Emmaus/Macungie area need a good indoor range

Re: Hi
Welcome. Lots of good people here. As far as range have you tried Firing Line in Whitehall? Decent indoor place.

Re: Hi
I've gone there a few times. It can get a little expensive based on their half hourly rates. I heard the guy that worked there that was an asshole doesn't work there anymore. The first time I went I almost kind of felt belittled by the guy who explained the rules, but following visits were okay. If it's dark out, raining, or you just don't feel like going to an outdoor range then you always have the firing line.
BTW Guthsville Rod & Gun club does have an indoor range, I don't know the status of whether people are pushing to have it opened to the public because as of right now it is only open for events. Guthsville does have a lot of nice outdoor ranges as well.
