LCR gas cutting
Sorry if this is a repeat...I searched LCR and got no hits.
There are reports of gas at the cylinder gap eating out the top strap above:

I have 55 rounds of mostly 148 gr reloads and 5 +P through ours, and it looks OK so far.
Just a heads up and question for discussion if anyone else has this issue...

Re: LCR gas cutting
The only thing I ever saw was a YouTube video back when they first came out, Some guy had cutting issues and I do believe He later posted that Ruger made everything right, Which I would expect no less.
Other than that, I haven't heard much else, I haven't shot mine a lot to notice anything. It's a nice little gun IMO.

Re: LCR gas cutting
That video is over a year old. It's been discussed here and on numerous other firearm forums many times. There is also a report floating around of a cylinder not locking up and the round blowing out the side of the revolver. Google LCR Kaboom.
As far as the flame cutting, if I recall I was satisfied with reports that there was a bad batch of frames, something wrong with the alloy treatment.
Anyway, mine's been fine
