Does anyone shoot their pistols at the range when it snows?
So I was all set to shoot my pistols at the range this morning, but now it started to snow. It isn't coming down hard and 1-3 inches is expected this afternoon. The range that I go to is outdoor, but the firing line is under shelter. I was wondering if anyone shoots when it snows?

I do. Glocks and gloves and waterproof footwear. I shoot in the rain too, so snow is easy.

Why would it make any difference?

I've never shot in the snow. Now that I live in Florida, no snow to shoot in anyway.

I shoot in all kinds of inclement weather and the best part is I usually have the entire range to myself.

Yes, I do, and I can back up what DaveM55 says, the range is usually empty. I have to go today since I just got my CZ85B back from Ghost Custom in AZ, with a new hammer, trigger and trigger job, new springs, and fiber-optic front sight and adjustable rear sight. 3.0# single action, 8.5# double action trigger. Rain, sleet, snow, whatever, I'm going today.

I have my own private range but I shoot in all weather and even at night. Ask yourself this - "do the bad guys only attack when it's 80 and sunny or in all types of weather?"
